Premcor USA, Inc., and The Premcor Refining Group, Inc. (together, "Premcor") sued American Home Assurance Company ("AHA") for coverage of litigation defense costs under an "umbrella" insurance policy (the "AHA policy"). Premcor argued that the AHA policy required AHA to pay more than two million dollars in costs that Premcor incurred while defending itself in an Illinois state court case. Premcor also argues that AHA had a duty to indemnify it for any liability incurred. The parties filed cross-motions for summary judgment. The district court granted judgment in favor of AHA. Premcor appeals.
